Mary Berry served up a tasty chestnut mushroom soup with celery, soy sauce and double cream on Mary Makes It Easy.

The ingredients are: 55g unsalted butter, 1 tbsp sunflower oil, 2 onions, finely chopped, 2 celery sticks, diced, 1 garlic clove, crushed, 1kg chestnut mushrooms, sliced, 700ml chicken or vegetable stock, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 150ml double cream, 3 tbsp freshly chopped parsley and salt and freshly ground black pepper.
