Nadiya Hussain served up a tasty egg fried rice with chilli powder, curry powder, fresh coriander and honey on Nadiya’s Simple Spices.
The ingredients For the eggs are : 2 tbsp oil, 4 medium eggs, ½ tsp salt and 1 tsp chilli powder.
For the rice: 150g butter, 2 onions, sliced, 1 tbsp curry powder, ½ tsp salt and 500g cooked rice, out of a packet or leftover rice from the night before.
To serve: large handful of chopped fresh coriander, 50ml olive oil, 3 green chillies, ½ lemon, juice only and 1 tsp honey.

Cooked the egg fried rice exactly as shown / recipe but it wasn’t that great? I mean it was okay but I was expecting more flavour. If I cooked it again I’d incorporate aubergine and courgette with pawns or chicken and season it much more than the recipe instructs. Also mix in fresh uncut coriander leaves at the end.
