Michela Chiappa served up a tasty one pan speedy lasagne on this morning.
The ingredients are: 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, 1 onion, finely chopped, 1 stick celery, finely chopped, 1 carrot, finely chopped, 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped, Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional), 500g beef mince, 250ml red wine, 1 tin of tomatoes (blended), 250ml beef stock (or 250ml boiling water and 1 beef stock cube), 3 tbsp tomato puree, Salt and pepper, to season, 150g lasagne sheets, halved (optional) , 1 ball of fresh mozzarella (or burrata), 2 handfuls of grated Cheddar (or Caciotta cheese if you can get hold of it) and 30g finely grated Parmesan cheese.
To finish: Fresh oregano, leaves and Fresh basil, leaves.
