John Whaite Greek spanakopita ( spinach, feta and filo pastry pie) recipe on Steph’s Packed Lunch

John Whaite served up a tasty Greek spanakopita ( spinach, feta and filo pastry pie) on Steph’s Packed Lunch.

The ingredients for the filling are: 800g canned cooked spinach, 25g parsley, finely chopped, 12g dill, finely chopped, 1 red onion, peeled and finely chopped, 1tsp ground white pepper, ½ tsp ground nutmeg, ½ tsp fine salt, 75g Greek yoghurt, 200g feta cheese, crumbled and 2 large free-range eggs.

To assemble the pie: 1 packet filo pastry, 100ml extra virgin olive oil, 200g feta cheese and Sea salt flakes.
