James Martin banoffee pie with with popcorn, dark chocolate and dulce de leche recipe

James Martin served up a delicious banoffee pie with with popcorn, dark chocolate and dulce de leche on James Martin’s Saturday Morning.

The ingredients for caramel are: 1 x 397g dulce de leche, 250g butter and 150g caster sugar.

For the base: 300g butter, softened, 200g dark soft brown sugar, 350g plain flour and 125g cornflour.

For the topping: 6 bananas, sliced, 600ml double cream, whipped, 100g popcorn, 25ml vegetable oil, 200g dark chocolate, melted and 1 x 397g dulce de leche.
