Shivi Ramoutar served up a tasty bloody Mary pasta with vodka Tabasco sauce, capers and herbs on Oti Mabuses Break Fast Show.
The ingredients are: 400g rigatoni pasta, 6 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, 5 garlic cloves, crushed, 100g tomato puree, 60ml vodka, 100g double cream, 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce and several dashes of tabasco.
For the fried herby capers: 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 small jar of capers (about 100g), drained and patted dry, zest of 1/2 lemon, 1 tbsp snipped parsley, 2 tbsp breadcrumbs.
To garnish: fresh basil and Parmesan cheese.
