Clodagh Mckenna served up a delicious salted caramel bread and butter pudding with bananas and maple syrup on This Morning.

The ingredients are: 4 bananas, sliced length-ways, 50g of butter, 1 tbsp maple syrup, 100g raisins, 5 large eggs, 480ml double cream, 225g granulated sugar, ½ tsp ground cinnamon, ¼ tsp ground nutmeg, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 12 slices firm white bread, crusts left on and 120g Irish butter at room temperature.

For the Salted caramel sauce: 110g unsalted butter, cut up into pieces, 225g granulated sugar and 1 dessertspoon sea salt.
