James Martin Arbroath Smokies Mac ‘n’ Cheese with Salad recipe on James Martin’s Saturday Morning

James Martin served up tasty Arbroath Smokies Mac ‘n’ Cheese with Salad on James Martin’s Saturday Morning.

The ingredients are: 450ml milk, 300ml double cream, ½ onion, peeled, 1 bay leaf, 4 cloves, 75g butter, 15g plain flour, 300g macaroni, 500g cheddar cheese, grated, 2 balls mozzarella, torn, 3 Arbroath smokies, baked in butter and flesh removed and flaked.

for the salad: selection of salad leaves.

for the salad dressing: ½ a shallot, diced, a few chives, chopped, 1 tbsp Dijon mustard, 2 tbsp white wine vinegar, 50ml vegetable oil and a splash of water.
