Rav Gill apple and raisin fruit scones recipe on Saturday Kitchen

Ravneet Gill served up delicious apple and raisin fruit scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream on Saturday Kitchen.

The ingredients are: 500g plain flour, plus a little for rolling out, 150g unsalted butter, 60g caster sugar, ½ tsp salt, 25g baking powder, 250ml full-fat milk, ½ apple, peeled and grated, 30g raisins, soaked in warm water and 1 free-range eggs yolk, beaten.

To serve: clotted cream and strawberry jam.
