Mary Berry Christmas pudding with brandy, almonds and orange cream recipe on Mary Berry’s Ultimate Christmas

Mary Berry served up a delicious traditional steamed Christmas pudding with brandy, light muscovado sugar, almonds, lemon zest, orange zest and orange cream sauce on Mary Berry’s Ultimate Christmas.

The ingredients are: 100g self raising flour, 40g fresh breadcrumbs, 40g chopped almonds, 100g light muscovado Sugar, 1tsp mixed spice, 30g hard glace cherries, 50g currants, 200g sultanas, 180g Raisins, Zest of a lemon, Zest of a orange, 2 eggs, 80g melted butter and 3 tbsp brandy.

For the orange cream are: 300ml pouring double cream, 25g icing sugar, 1 orange, finely grated rind only and 1–3 tbsp rum, brandy or orange liqueur.
