Paul A Young served up delicious mince pie brownies with chocolate and fudge on Saturday kitchen.

The ingredients for the brownie layer are: 110g unsalted butter, 75g light muscovado sugar, 50g golden caster sugar, 55g runny honey, agave syrup or maple syrup, 160g dark chocolate, melted, 50g dark chocolate, cut into chunks, 1 tsp vanilla extract, ½ tsp flaky sea salt , 2 free-range eggs and 45g plain flour.

For the chocolate fudge: 110g unsalted butter, 425g demerara sugar, 125ml full-fat milk, 350ml condensed milk, 150g dark chocolate, minimum 70% cocoa solids, broken into pieces, 1 tsp sea salt flakes, well crushed and 3 shop-bought mince pies.

For the decoration: 400g dark chocolate and edible gold or silver lustre powder.
