John Whaite gingerbread latte tiramisu recipe on Steph’s Packed Lunch

John Whaite served up a delicious gingerbread latte tiramisu for the festive season on Steph’s Packed Lunch.

The ingredients are: 2 large free-range eggs, whites and yolks separated, 50g caster sugar, 250g mascarpone cheese, 250g double cream, 100ml marsala wine, or sweet sherry, 100ml kahlua, 1tbsp instant coffee dissolved in 1 tbsp hot water, 2 x McVities jamaica ginger cakes and 100g dark chocolate, very finely chopped, or blitzed in a mini food processor OR instead of the alcohol, mix 50g muscovado sugar with 50ml boiling water to create a sugar syrup.
