Simon Rimmer served up a warming beef hot pot with anchovies on Steph’s Packed Lunch.
The ingredients are: 4tbsp olive oil, 1kg braising steak, large chunks, 2 onions, peeled and sliced, 2 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped, 4 sliced carrots, peeled and sliced, 2 bay leaves, Few sprigs thyme, 25g plain flour, 50ml Worcestershire sauce, 500ml beef stock, 4 salted or in oil anchovies, chopped, 1kg potatoes, peeled and sliced across and 200g butter, melted.
To serve: Pickled red cabbage.
