Jamie Oliver serves up grilled garlic mussels with sweet tomato soup on Jamie’s Money Saving Meals.
Jamie says: “This is an unusual but brilliant dish: a simple tomato soup served with garlicky mussels topped with crispy breadcrumbs.”
The ingredients are: 1 small red onion, 4 cloves of garlic, olive oil, ½ teaspoon fennel seeds, ½ teaspoon dried chilli flakes, 2 x 400 g tins of chopped tomatoes, 1 kg mussels, washed and debearded, 100 g stale bread, 40 g Cheddar cheese and 15 g fresh flat-leaf parsley.
