James Martin almond and cherry tart with whipped cream recipe on James Martin’s Saturday Morning

James Martin served up a delicious almond and cherry tart with double whipped cream and toasted flaked almonds on James Martin’s Saturday Morning.

The ingredients for he pastry are: 225g plain flour, 1 egg yolk and 125g butter diced.

For the frangipane: 250g butter, softened, 125g caster sugar, 250g ground almonds and 5 eggs.

To top: 25g toasted flaked almonds.

To serve: Jar of Cherries and 400ml double cream whipped.
