James Martin served up a delicious banana, honey and walnut cake with mascarpone icing on James Martin’s Saturday Morning.
The ingredients are: 200g butter, 200g caster sugar, 200g self-raising flour, 3 eggs, 3 bananas, 100g walnuts, chopped and 2 tbs honey.
For the icing: 200g mascarpone, 2 tsp honey and ¼ lemon juice.
For the candied Bananas: 3 bananas sliced lengthways and 2 tbsp icing sugar.
To decorate: Extra honey to drizzle.
