Rick Stein cheese and chive scones with English mustard recipe

Rick Stein served up tasty cheese and chive scones with pear, honey and English mustard on Rick Stein’s Cornwall.

The ingredients are: 450g self-raising flour, plus extra for dusting, 2 tsp baking powder, pinch salt, 1 tsp English mustard powder, 50g butter, cubed, 225g mature cheddar, grated (Rick used Davidstow cheddar), bunch chives, chopped and 200–250ml milk.

To serve: sliced cheddar (or other hard cheese), sliced pears and clear honey.
