John Torode and Lisa Faulkner served up a delicious festive galette des rois (French almond tart) recipe on John and Lisa’s Christmas Kitchen.

The ingredients are: 500g puff pastry (or if you want to be extra quick, 2 packs of ready rolled puff), Flour for rolling, 100g softened butter, 100g caster sugar, 100g ground almonds, 1 egg, beaten, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1 minstrel/sugared almond/chocolate coin as a prize and 1 egg yolk for glazing.
