David Appleton Christmas pavlova recipe on Steph’s Packed Lunch

David Appleton, from The Great British Bake Off, served up a delicious Christmas pavlova on Steph’s Packed Lunch.

The ingredients for the meringue are: 6 egg whites (180g), 375g caster sugar, 3 tsp cornflour, 20 drops of orange oil (or zest of an orange) and Red food colour gel.

For the Mulled Sauce: 150ml grape juice, 30g caster sugar, 1/2 tsp mixed spice and 1 tsp cornflour.

For the Topping: 200ml double cream, 30g flaked almonds and 200g frozen fruits.
