Michela Chiappa served up a tasty ‘hug in a bowl’ roast beef stew with a bottle of red wine and mash potato using her Italian nonna’s recipe on This Morning.
The ingredients are: 50g salted butter , 1kg lean beef joint , 1 onion, peeled and sliced, 2 cloves of garlic, peeled and crushed, 1 organic beef stock cube dissolved in 200ml boiling water, 750ml full-bodied red wine (e.g. Merlot), 1 tbsp tomato puree, 2 bay leaves and 8 black peppercorns.
