John Gregory-Smith showcased a delicious fig cake with almond and cardamom on Sunday Brunch.

The ingredients are: 150g unsalted butter, plus extra for greasing, 220g caster sugar, 3 eggs, 70g Greek yogurt, 1 tbsp orange water, 100g plain flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 200g ground almonds, The seeds from 4 cardamom pods, ground and 4 figs, cut into 6 little wedges.
