James Martin sardines with gazpacho sauce and panzanella salad recipe on James Martin’s Saturday Morning

James Martin served up tasty sardines with gazpacho sauce and panzanella salad on James Martin’s Saturday Morning.

The ingredients are: 4 sardines, gutted and scaled, backbone removed, 4 whole sardines gutted and 25ml olive oil.

For the Sauce: 1/2 red onion, peeled and sliced, 2 cloves garlic, sliced, 8 large tomatoes sliced, 1 small bunch basil torn, 2 slices charred bread, 1 tsp sherry vinegar, Salt and pepper.

To serve: 2 tbs herb oil, 2 tbs green olives, A few garden herbs, 2 tomatoes 1/4d and a few basil leaves.
