James Martin tempura vegetables with a miso, soy, Japanese vinegar and sake sauce recipe on James Martin’s Saturday Morning

James Martin served up tasty Asian tempura vegetables with a miso, soy, Japanese vinegar and sake sauce on James Martin’s Saturday Morning.

The ingredients are: 2 red spring onions, 1 green pepper, 1 red pepper, 1 carrot and 100g green beans.

For the sauce: 2 tbs miso paste, 2 tbs soy sauce, 1 tsp Japanese vinegar, 4 tbs caster sugar, 1 tbs fresh ginger, grated and 4 tbs sake.

For the batter: 200g self-raising flour, 1 tsp salt and 250ml fizzy water.

To serve: Mint and Coriander.
