Liam Charles showcased his delicious hexagonal jaffa cakes with strawberry jelly, custard flavoured sponge and a milk and white chocolate topping for today;s technical challenge on Junior Bake Off 2021.
The ingredients for the jelly: 1 x 135g pack of strawberry jelly and 150ml boiling water
For the sponge: 2 large eggs, 50g caster sugar, 50g self-raising flour, sifted and 20g custard powder, sifted.
For the topping: 200g 46% cocoa-solids chocolate, broken into pieces and 100g white chocolate, broken into pieces.
