Fresh and light Barbecue Beef Salad made with Highland beef by James Martin

James Martin makes a fresh and light barbecue beef salad made with Highland beef on his visit to the West of Scotland on today’s episode of James Martin Food Map of Britain.

James says: “This is a hearty salad brimming with South-East Asian flavours. Great as a lighter barbecue dish or a quick supper.”

The ingredients are: 1 x 300g sirloin or fillet steak, 25ml rapeseed oil, 1 red chilli, finely chopped, 1 tbsp palm sugar, 2 garlic cloves, 2 tbsp fresh coriander, plus extra for the salad, 2 tbsp fresh mint, 1 tsp fish sauce, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 lime, juice and zest, 1 round lettuce, 50g sugar-snap peas, 6 radishes, salt and freshly ground black pepper.
