Hastings Dover Sole on the beach on James Martin’s Food Map of Britain

James Martin makes a Hasting Dover sole dish on the beach in today’s episode of James Martin’s Map of Britain.

James says about his dish: “An indulgent meal for one: fresh Dover sole reaches new heights with luscious butter sauce and tiny brown shrimps.”

The ingredients for his dish are: 1 whole Dover sole, skinned and trimmed, 25g plain flour, seasoned with salt and pepper, 25ml olive oil, 50g butter, 1 shallot, finely chopped, ½ lemon, juice only, 10g capers, 10g fresh parsley, 50g brown shrimp, salt and black pepper, 1 lemon, for garnish.
