Gok Wan Singapore noodles recipe on This Morning

Gok Wan served up tasty Singapore noodles using store cupboard ingredients on This Morning.

The ingredients are: 1 – 2 nests of noodles (you can use whatever noodles you may have – dried egg and vermicelli noodles work well), Vegetable oil, for frying, ½ medium onion, cut into strips, ½ red pepper, deseeded and cut into strips, 2 spring onions, cut into julienne, ½ carrot, cut into julienne, Handful of mange tout, cut into julienne, 2 cloves of garlic, minced, 1 tbsp medium curry powder, 2 eggs, beaten, Light soy sauce, Pinch sugar, Fish sauce (optional, if you have it in cupboard), Red chilli (optional, if you have it in the cupboard) and Shaoxing rice wine or dry sherry (optional, if you have it in the cupboard).

To serve: Salt and white pepper, Dash sesame oil, ½ lime (optional) and Shredded cooked chicken to serve (optional).
