Nadia Sawalha served up a delicious baklava with coffee and pastasho ice cream on Nadia’s Family Feasts.
The ingredients for the honey syrup: 200gm caster sugar, 150ml water, 2 Tablespoons honey, 1 teaspoon rose water and 1 teaspoon orange blossom water.
For the filling are: 250g pistachios, 2 Tablespoons caster sugar, 1 teaspoon ground cardamom, 1 teaspoon orange blossom water, 8 sheets of filo pastry and 100g butter, melted.
