Nadia Sawalha and Christian Stevenson (DJ BBQ) served up a tasty buttermilk fried chicken with ranch dressing and coleslaw on Nadia’s Family Feasts.
The ingredients are: 16 mini chicken breast fillets, 400ml buttermilk, 2 teaspoons garlic granules, 2 teaspoons onion powder, 1 teaspoon dried thyme, ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper, 250g plain flour, Salt and freshly ground pepper, Vegetable oil for frying.
For the ranch dressing: 120g sour cream, 3 Tablespoon mayonnaise, 35g blue cheese, crumbled, A squeeze of lemon juice, 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped, 1 Tablespoon chives, finely chopped and 2 dashes of Worcestershire sauce.
Garnish – Celery Sticks & iceberg lettuce wedges
