John Torode turkey with onion gravy recipe on John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen

John Torode served up[a tasty turkey with onion gravy using his grandmother’s recipe on John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen.

The ingredients are: 4kg turkey, 250g salted butter, 2 tsp sea salt, 2 tsp ground black pepper and 6 large onions, unpeeled.

For the onion gravy: 4 large onions, sliced, 20ml vegetable oil or dripping, Approximately 300ml cooking liquid from the turkey, 1 tbsp malt vinegar, Salt and pepper, 50g flour.
