Chefs Michael Caines and Peter Weeden join James Martin in the Saturday Kitchen to serve up two tasty looking dishes to excite special guest actress Jodie Whittaker.
Michael Caines is a French trained chef and has been Executive Head Chef at Gidleigh Park since 1994 and has held two Michelin stars since 1999. One of Britain’s most acclaimed chefs, included in his many accolades and awards are AA Chef of the Year 2007 and an MBE in 2006.
Today the Michelin star chef serves up a soaked cod with lemon purée, chorizo and red pepper sauce dish on Saturday Kitchen.
Peter Weeden is the Head Chef and Partner of Newman Street Tavern. He started working in the food industry washing pots at a local hotel more than 20 years ago and worked as a cook, waiter & potwasher until he left University with a degree in English literature then soon realised that cooking was what he wanted to do as a profession.
Today Peter serves up a guinea fowl with bread sauce dish on Saturday Kitchen live.
