Catherine Fulvio panettone with candied peel and recipe on The Best Christmas Food Ever

Catherine Fulvio served up a delicious Italian quick and easy panettone with candid peal and Marsala wine on The Best Christmas Food Ever.

The ingredients are: 150ml milk, warmed, 2 tsp fast-action dried yeast, 100g golden caster sugar, 3 free-range eggs, beaten, 175g butter, melted, 3 tbsp Marsala wine, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 500g strong white flour, plus extra for dusting, ½ tsp salt, 150g raisins, 4 tbsp orange juice or brandy, 75g candied peel and oil, for greasing.

To serve: 1 free-range egg, beaten, 2 tbsp flaked almonds and icing sugar, for dusting.
