Dan Doherty served up a tasty chicken pie with cream sauce for the summer on This Morning.
The ingredients for the mash are: 500g potatoes, peeled and halved, 50g butter, 100ml double cream and Freshly grated nutmeg, to taste.
For the pie mix: 750ml milk, 1 bay leaf, 30g butter, 30g flour, 1 tbsp whole grain mustard, 1 chicken, roasted (rotisserie is best, shop bought and really easy), Large pinch fresh, chopped, tarragon, Salt and pepper.
To serve: 2 handfuls fresh peas, 2 handfuls fresh broad beans, shelled, 20g butter and Large pinch fresh mint, finely shredded.
