The Bikers skinny meatballs recipe on This Morning

The Hairy Bikers served up skinny meatballs in a tasty tagine with lamb and lentils on This Morning.

The ingredients are: 100g brown lentils, ½ tsp salt, 1 tsp olive oil, 1 onion, finely chopped, 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped or grated, 1 tbsp ras-el-hanout, 1 tbsp dried mint, 500g lean lamb mince, 1 egg, 30g panko breadcrumbs, Sea salt and black pepper.

The Bikers also served their meatballs with pitta using: 4 large pitta breads, ¼ red cabbage, shredded, ¼ cucumber, sliced, ½ red onion, finely sliced, Pickled chillies or hot sauce (optional).

For the sauce: 200ml low-fat yogurt, 1 tbsp dried mint, 1 tsp ground cumin and Small bunch of parsley, chopped, a few leaves reserved for garnish.
