Juliet Sear lemon and elderflower cake recipe on This Morning

Juliet Sear served up a delicious lemon and elderflower drizzle cake fit for a Royal wedding on This Morning.

The ingredients are: 200g self-raising flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 200g softened unsalted butter, 200g golden unrefined caster sugar, 2 tbsp elderflower cordial, zest of 2 medium lemons and 4 medium free-range eggs.

For the drizzle: Juice of 1 lemon, strained, 30ml water, 2 tbsp elderflower cordial and 70g golden unrefined caster sugar.

For the Buttercream and filling: 200g unrefined icing sugar, 80g soft unsalted butter, 3 tbsp elderflower cordial and 2-3 tbsp good quality lemon curd.
