Nigel Slater saffron and cardamom creme caramel recipe

Nigel Slater served up a delicious saffron and cardamom creme caramel on Nigel Slater’s Middle East.

The ingredients are: 500ml full-fat milk, 12 cardamom pods, 10 saffron stamens, 4 free-range egg yolks, 2 free-range eggs and 80g caster sugar.

For the caramel syrup: 125g caster sugar and 100ml water.
