Nigel Barden served up a tasty creamy kale and celeriac vegetarian dish on Radio 2 Drivetime with Simon Mayo.
The ingredients are: 1 celeriac, about 600g, 1 red onion, sliced, 1 clove garlic, thickly sliced, leaves from a couple of sprigs of thyme, 2 tbsp olive oil, plus a little extra, 250g curly kale or cavolo nero, 4 tbsp crème fraîche, 1 tsp English mustard and 20g Parmesan or another hard, grainy cheese, finely grated.
