Jamie Oliver Vietnamese beef pho broth recipe on Jamie and Jimmy’s Friday Night Feast

Jamie Oliver served up a tasty French/Vietnamese beef pho broth with noodles and pickled garlic on Jamie and Jimmy’s Friday Night Feast.

The ingredients are: 300 g ginger, 2 kg beef bones, ½ a stick of cinnamon, 6 cloves, 6 star anise, sesame oil, 2 sticks of lemongrass, 4 tablespoons low-salt soy sauce, 2 tablespoons fish sauce, 600 g thick rice noodles , (8mm), 1 bunch of fresh mint , (30g), 1 bunch of fresh coriander , (30g), 4 spring onions, 1 onion, 1-2 fresh red chillies, 2 limes, 300 g beansprouts , (ready to eat), 600 g skirt steak, groundnut oil and hot chilli sauce.

For the pickled garlic: 4 cloves of garlic, 1 heaped teaspoon golden caster sugar and 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar.
