Candice’s peach Melba meringue pie recipe on This Morning

Candice Brown served up a peach Melba meringue pie for a tasty summer dessert on This Morning.

The ingredients are: 100g golden caster sugar, 100g unsalted butter, 4 egg yolks, 175g plain flour, plus extra for dusting, 25g ground almonds, Grated zest of 1 lemon, Pinch of salt and Beaten egg, for egg wash.

For the filling: 6 ripe peaches, 1 tbsp light soft brown sugar and 250g fresh raspberries.

For the raspberry coulis: 200g fresh raspberries, 50g icing sugar and 1 tsp lemon juice.

For the Italian meringue: ½ lemon, 4 egg whites, 200g golden caster sugar and Shreds of lemon zest.
