Simon Rimmer treacle tart recipe on Eat the Week with Iceland

Simon Rimmer served up treacle tart and custard on Eat the Week with Iceland.

The ingredients for the pastry are: 225g Flour, 100g Butter, 25g Caster Sugar, 1 Egg, Little Milk To Bind and 1 Egg For Egg Wash.

For the filling: 800g Golden Syrup, 249g Fresh Breadcrumbs, 2 Tsp Ground Ginger and 1 Lemon (Zest And Juice).

For the custard: 6 Egg Yolks, 125g Caster Sugar, 400ml Milk and 1 Vanilla Pod.
