James Tanner served up a simple summer tart with goats cheese and sweet onion on today’s episode of Lorraine.
The ingredients are: 250g shop bought puff pastry, 4 tbsp onion relish, Zest of 1 lemon, 1 egg beaten, 1 tbsp chopped chives, Handful ripped basil leaf, 1 plum tomato sliced thinly, 100g mascarpone cheese and 60g goats cheese crumbled.
For the floral salad: 1 pkt of mixed edible flowers, 2 handful of baby watercress and 1 head or chicory.
For the dressing: 1 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp dijon mustard, 3 tbsp extra virgin or rape seed oil, dash raspberry vinegar and a pinch salt.
