The hairy bikers lemon pond pudding with butter butterscotch sauce recipe

Si and Dave served up a lemon pond steamed pudding with butter butterscotch sauce on The Hairy Bikers’ Best Of British.

The ingredients for the pastry are: butter, for greasing, 250g self-raising flour, plus extra for rolling, 50g fresh white breadcrumbs, 150g shredded suet, 1 tbsp demerara sugar, 1 orange, zest and juice.

For the filling: 1 lemon, thinly sliced, 175g demerara sugar and 175g cold butter, cut into 2cm cubes.
