Dean edwards served up midweek steak and frites with smoky lime and chilli butter on today’s episode of Lorraine.
The ingredients for the smoky lime and chilli Butter: 125g unsalted butter, softened, ½ tsp smoked paprika, 1 red chilli, deseeded and finely diced, Zest 1 lime, grated and 2 tbsp fresh coriander, finely chopped.
Garlic butter: 125g unsalted butter, softened, 2 cloves garlic, minced (for a twist try smoked garlic), 2 tbsp flat leaf parsley, chopped and Zest ½ lemon.
Sun blush tomato butter: 125g unsalted butter, softened, 2 tbsp sun-blush tomatoes, finely chopped, 2 tbsp fresh basil, chopped and 3 tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated.
For the steak: 4 x 150g minute steaks, 4 portions skinny fries, topped with grated Parmesan cheese (optional) and 4 handfuls lamb’s lettuce.
