Nisha’s Indian finger food Feast recipe on Lorraine

Nisha Katona served up a Indian finger food that contained tandoori chicken and courgette, raita and keema toasties on today’s episode of Lorraine.

The ingredients for tandoori chicken and courgette: 4 chicken drumsticks, skinless and slashed, 2 courgettes chopped into big chunks, 6 tbsp natural yoghurt, 1 tbsp paprika, 1 tbsp garlic puree, 1 tsp salt, Juice ½ lemon, 1 tsp turmeric, 2 tbsp garam masala and 2 tbsp vegetable oil.

For the raita: 1 cup natural yogurt, Pinch of salt, 1 tsp cumin powder, Squeeze lemon juice and ¼ grated cucumber.

For the keema toasties: 4 tbsp vegetable oil, 1 large onion, finely diced, 1 tbsp garlic puree, 1 tbsp ginger puree/paste, 250g minced lamb or beef, 2 tbsp garam masala, 1 tsp turmeric, ¼ tsp chilli powder, 227g can chopped tomatoes, Salt, Coriander leaf, chopped to garnish, 8 square slices white (medium) bread and Butter, for spreading.
