The home cooks had to showcase their culinary knowledge preparing peppers, fillet salmon and create a salmon dish to impress Gordon Ramsay.

After a testing day in the kitchen, it was Carol who came away with the £1000 prize serving up a tasty Asian pan fired salmon dish.
