John Whaite served up a angel food cake with Turkish delight on Chopping Block.
The ingredients for the sponge: 85g plain flour, 65g cornflour, 275g icing sugar (separated into two containers, one with 60g and the other with 215g) and 12 large egg whites.
To finish: 400ml whipping cream, 2 tsp rose water, 2 tbsp icing sugar, 1 tbsp vanilla bean paste, handful raspberries, handful pistachios, pomegranate and Turkish delight.
