Dean’s spicy prawn laksa recipe on Lorraine

Dean Edwards served up a spicy prawn laksa broth on today’s episode of Lorraine.

The ingredients are: Oil for frying, 1 onion, sliced thinly, 3 cloves garlic, crushed, 1 thumb-sized piece ginger, grated, 1 stick of lemongrass, 1 heaped tbsp red Thai curry paste, 400g can coconut milk, 800ml chicken or vegetable stock, 4 nests vermicelli rice noodles, 1 tbsp brown sugar, 2 tbsp soy sauce, Juice 1-2 limes, 400g raw prawns, Fresh coriander for garnish, 4 spring onions, finely sliced, 2 soft boiled eggs, halved to serve and Lime wedges, to serve.
