James Martin Lyonnaise salad recipe on James Martin’s French Adventure

James Martin served up a French lyonnaise salad with bacon and poached eggs James Martin’s French Adventure.

The ingredients are: 1tbsp olive oil, 4 slices smoked bacon, cut into 5cm pieces, 2 thick slices of bread, torn into cubes, 2 eggs, Salt, A splash of white wine vinegar, 2 handfuls of frisée (or other curly salad leaves), 2 handfuls of lamb’s lettuce, 2 chicory, sliced and A small bunch of chervil.

For the dressing: 2tsp Dijon mustard, 25ml white wine vinegar, 100ml olive oil, ½ shallot, finely diced, ¼ garlic clove, crushed, Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
