Hersha Patel served up a tasty dhal with coconut chutney curry dish for a Friday night treat on This Morning.
The ingredients are: 150g red lentils , 1 medium red onion finely, chopped, 1 tin coconut milk, 4 large cloves of garlic, finely chopped, 200ml water, 2 heaped tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1 inch stick cinnamon, salt to taste, I tablespoon ghee or coconut oil, 1 medium red onion finely sliced (not chopped) and 1 large heaped tsp cumin seeds.
For the coconut chutney: 25g mint leaves, 2 medium tomatoes, 100g creamed coconut block, 1-2 chillis, salt and splash of water.
