John Whaite dumplings with sesame and chilli sauce recipe on Lorraine

John Whaite served up tasty dumplings with sesame, soy and chilli sauce on today’s episode of Lorraine.

The ingredients for the dough are: 100g high-gluten dumpling flour and 50ml (approximately) boiling water.

For the filling: 300g pork mince (see alternative option below), 2 spring onions, finely chopped, 1 clove garlic, crushed, ½ tsp bicarbonate soda, ½ tsp cornflour, 2 tsp light soy sauce, 2 tsp dark soy sauce, ½ tsp sesame oil and Salt and pepper.

For the sauce: 2 tbsp dark soy sauce, 2 tbsp lazy chopped chilli and 1 tbsp sesame oil.

To serve: Shredded carrots/stir fried veg, Sliced chillies and Chopped fresh coriander.
